CageList Fees

At CageList, we aim to be transparent about our fee structure.

Below, we have listed everything you need to know about the fees we collect in order to run the CageList platform.

This is an overview of the fees that apply for creating a Batting Cage listing and using our services on CageList. These fees are also referenced in the Terms of Service (Service Agreement) and all users accept these fees by using this platform.

Fee Basics:

Cage User –
Signing up for CageList is free.

CageList receives a service fee of 10% of total transaction or $2 minimum, whichever is more, for each transaction.

Cage Owner –
Hosting a batting cage on CageList is free.

CageList receives 10% of the total for each transaction made on our platform. (including add-ons)

Pricing and Guest Breakdowns:

Minimum price – $10 per hour

We currently allow our Cage Owners to charge a minimum of $10/hr for their batting cage.

Maximum price – $100 per hour

We currently allow our Cage Owners to charge a maximum of $100/hr for their batting cage.

Minimum Rental Interval – 30 minutes

We currently allow our Cage Owners to rent their batting cage for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Cage Owners determine the following for their batting cage listing:

1. The minimum age allowed in their backyard facility.

ie: We do not allow guests under the age of 5 years old to be in our backyard.

We do this so that cage owners can make it clear to their cage users if they do not want little kids being in their backyard.

2. The base number of guests and an hourly rate.

ie: $20/hour for up to 4 players. Each additional player is $5/hr

3. The maximum number of guests allowed in their backyard during a rental.

ie: We allow a maximum of 12 total guests during a rental. This includes anyone who will be in the backyard.

We do this so that cage owners can make it clear how many guests can safely be in their backyard at one time.

4. The option to add an additional fee of their choice per guest per hour.

ie: $5 per hour per additional guest, up to the max number of guests allowed.

Youngest Age Allowed:       5 years
Rental includes:                   up to 4 guests
Max Guests:                        10 guests
Extra Fee per guest:           $5
